So many hills
Got there early so parking was ok, the loo situation was a bit manic but didn't take too long.
Overall really good

Great
Really needed more loos, only 4 cubicles for men for about 800 men!
Thank you for your comments. There were plenty of toilets but they were not well marked. This will be improved for 2027 when we will also be bringing in portaloos.

Great new course, just fine tuning of facilities required
Great course, good marshalls, friendly check in.
Parking - very slow entry, 2nd water station should be earlier (mile 7), Alternative toilets need better signage to ease congestion. Can start ‘funnel’ be wider?
Thank you for your comments. Parking and toilets will both be improved for 2027. We will also be adjusting the start and will look at access for the second water station.

The parking, signage, bag drop was chaotic
Lack of signage from car parks to number collection and bag drop was seriously lacking. Made the start quite stressful. Lovely route though and will definitely do it again
Thank you for your comments. It was our first year in our new race HQ and will be making improvements in the areas mentioned for 2027

Slick organisation. Great course
Need a better route map for next year

Enjoyable run
I would next year to ease the traffic and traffic flow assign car parking areas to each runnner which will mean people are not waiting or unable to get parking
Thank you for your comments. We will be reviewing parking for 2027.

Lovely new routed Canterbury 10!
Car park filled up quicker than I thought it would. We got there at 8am and it was half full already. Email suggested it was big , but judging by flow of people turning up later and their comments, lack of parking an issue.
Overall though a lovely scenic race, well marshalled and positive. Queue for gents an issue too! Thanks for your efforts...
Thank you for your comments. We will be upgrading parking and toilets for 2027.

Decent route, some improvements to race admin needed.
Before the start of the race, the race briefing could not be heard at all standing by the 110 minute sign. There needs to be more speakers distributed along the waiting area so that everyone can hear this,
During the race, there was one runner blasting music from a portable speaker being carried in her rucksack. This was extremely loud and resulted in the somewhat questionable choice of music being imposed on the surrounding runners which took away from the generally positive atmosphere of the event and meant that nearby runners were unable to hear instructions from the marshals.
Thank you for your comments. We will be adjusting the start area for 2027 to overcome this and also disqualifying anyone running with loudspeakers.

Great event let down by parking issues
I have to say nothing wrong with the event and atmosphere. Let down by the huge queues for parking, despite travelling a distance we arrived at 8.00 am. We are hen joined the 30 minutes plus time to park and had to register, toilet and baggage, arrived on the start line with a couple of minutes to spare. No time for a warm up and as an older runner it made running the event much harder and a greater risk of injury
I was convinced it was going to be delayed as people were still arriving from the car park just a few minutes before the start.
Thank you for your comments. We agree the parking needed improving and will be taking steps to improve this for 2027.

Brilliant new route - can't fault it
Really good running conditions today. Route was undulating but not a problem. Good support from marshals. Lovely touch of snack bars at end of race & timing print out - well done everyone involved!
Roi Larrett
Really enjoyed the new route
Great start and new route for 2026. Really enjoyed it.

Well running late starting. Liked bag drop and area meant you could warm up muscles stretching etc. Good road closures and plenty of marshalls to run the event.
Announcement at the beginning of race to ask runners to take their gel sachets home with them. I was at the back of the race and was very disappointed to find gel wrappers discarded throughout Clowes Wood - woods I frequent as I live close by.
I picked up at least 10 to give to marshalls although there were still more along the way. Not acceptable! It gives runners a bad name.
Thank you for your comments. Gel wrappers were an unexpected problem and we will hopefully address this for 2027.

Lovely Route, with good elevation, long flat stretches and nice down hills.
Seriously, there was not enough toilets for the Men. Lots more Cubicle access required. Time was getting tight before the start, the disabled and the ladies toilets were getting besieged by gents all trying to get done and ready before 9. The waiting times were ridiculous adding unnecessary stress to some participants.
Many thanks
Thank you for your comments. Toilets will be better signed and we will be bringing in portaloos for 2027.
Jim Kirkland
Not flat but fun
Queue for the gents pre race was a nightmare but apart from that a fantastic well run event
Thank you for your comments. Toilets will be improved for 2027
Gary Rowlatt
Great course , great atmosphere. Fantastic marshals.
The toilet situation let this event down. 30 mins waiting for a cubicle . Giving no time to warm up . Toilets ran out of paper. It’s my only criticism, I appreciate this is a new route etc- but surely the toilets situation was obvious - especially with the amount of runners .i wonder weather portaloos could not be place at the university.
Other than that the event was very good .
Thank you for your comments. We will be bringing in portaloos for 2027 and improving toilet signage.

Great race event
Brilliant new 10 mile route which I actually prefer to the old one.
My one criticism would be that there were not enough toilets for the sheer amount of people pre-race. Maybe some portaloos would be suggestion.
Looking forward to next year and beating my time.
Thank you for your comments. We will be bringing in portaloos for 2027 and improving toilet signage.

Great Course but improvements needed pre-race
Really enjoyed the course and impressed the road was closed. Everything about the race itself was very well organised and was great from a participant perspective. Pre-race could have some improvements. The traffic build up before the event made things stressful pre race. I tuned into the university at 8am and did not get parked till 8:20am. There could have also been more toilet facilities. Everything during and post race was excellent though.
Thank you for your comments. We will be improving both toilets and parking for 2027.
Andy Greenfield
A hilly course including both road and off road racing.
The parking was difficult. More areas of uni parking could’ve been offered to reduce queues.
Thank you for your comments. Parking will be improved for 2027.
Jordan Cowell
Absolutely brilliant race with lovely views and super supportive Marshalls and staff!
Chris Gedge
Great event… bit hilly!
Need to have a think about the parking arrangements as the queue from Giles lane was awful
Thank you for your comments. We will be improving parking for 2027.
