Please sort toilets for next year - woefully not enough

It was a great run but the total lack of Marshall’s to assist with parking meant pre race parking was a nightmare. As a consequence I’m now questioning whether I’ll bother next year.

I think this course and venue is alot better for the amount of people entering.

Plus on the route there was alot of support out there so this should be a keep race

Speakers at start need to be clearer for those near the back. Maybe stay on road as there were still people dropping bags off. Need portaloos as well. Parking was difficult, found a random car park. Parking needs to be marshaled better. Not many places for friends and family to stand to cheer on as inaccessible. Hilly run. Painful but did enjoy it. Understand logistical difficulties.

toilets were a bit grim and long wait but that's pretty standard. really well organised parking, bid collection and bag drop and fantastic marshalls and support on the route. thank you

The parking was an issue. Maybe it wasn’t anticipated how many cars. Also there was son toilet roll and not enough facilities.

Took 20 mins to get into car park there were to lads stood in one corner not doing anything would have helped if they had directed a bit to fill up car spaces. Or divert to multiple car parks if you had them. Toilet queues and confusion on if urinals available my daughter queued over 20 mins for ladies get some portable ones plus urinal for outside next time. Some info on course would of be good prior like the profile.

We had a great time at today's event, it was a hilly route but with views to make up for the incline. Really well organised, clear where the collection of the race packs and bags drops were. Easy to navigate the race HQ and amazing marshalls on the course, lots of locals out cheering as well. My only comment is that there needs to be more toilets available, we arrived quite early yet were still only just on the start line in time. No real signage to toilets that we saw, so maybe some more signs and stalls please for next time. Overall a great event.

Loved the closed roads and support was great. No queuing for numbers at registration and a great massage after what's not to like.! Can't help the hills lol.!

A fantastic event. My 4th time running it. It always delivers. Well organised, friendly and a great atmosphere. All the volunteers and marshals are brilliant and the set up is excellent in general.

New course this year (2026). The start layout worked well and I liked the 1 mile loop at the start (which had worried me looking at the map, but it was great coming back through the start getting the cheers again!). Course was good, and the muddy bits were OK if a little challenging. Felt quick though elevation was about the same and the same great finish set up and medal.

My only thing of note was Loos at the start. Could’ve done with more there were some massive queues. Other than that, as ever, a great event which was suited to all abilities.

Better signage required and arrangements of parking. However the Number collection and baggage was much improved on previous years. The traffic free route was a great bonus. Fantastic Marshalls. Really enjoyed the run.

Would’ve have been better with more toilets as long queue at the beginning of the race. Liked being able to register the day before.

More toilets
Like being able to collect bib on Saturday took the pressure off.
Lots of parking with no issue.
Found the course narrow in places with the volume of runners especially when an ambulance was trying to get through.
A hilly course I found last years route better.

I admire the race organisers for biting the bullet and moving this race to a completely new HQ and course. Given the size of this event it isn't surprising that there would be a few teething problems as a result of this move. Overall things seemed to go well although car parking did become an issue after around 8:15 and there were simply not enough toilets. I understand more were available in another block but people didn't know where to go to find these. Poraloos are a must next year!

This was really well organised, however, the queue for the toilets was wild. We queued for 20 minutes and still had to use the men’s toilets (which were empty by the end). Absolute craziness. I didn’t have issues with parking but we did get there at 8am and I thought it was a lot better than 2025. Fantastic closed road event, really beautiful route - definitely recommend this one. Medal was lovely too.
