Parking was chaotic, despite arriving at 8am it took almost 45 mins to find a space and then I ended up in a space not in the designated car park. While it it is a good event for winter training, conscious lots of people would be marathon training and that hill between miles 6 and 7 is not typically conducive with road running. It’s also why I say it’s not friendly for beginners, with so much undulation and only two water stations it would only serve fast or confident beginners, rather than someone working up to a half marathon. I know these things are not easy to organise so thanks for putting it on.

The only issue I saw was the queue for parking but we managed to pop in to one just before the queue so it luckily didn’t effect us

My only feedback for an area of improvement would be additional toilet facilities

The parking was a badly directed I feel. Once spots were taken there were other car parks that were available but not known to travelling participants. It made multiple people late to collect run numbers and start in a relaxed fashion. I had to ask directions often on points where the turns options were multiple directions which I found a bit frustrating as several people were trying to catch up with the main crowd of runners that set off on time. Otherwise I enjoyed it and I'd do it again

Very well organised.

My 1st paid for running event so it was a pleasant experience.
Well marshaled. Very friendly.
Only issue was with the parking. Not enough spaces so had to park on tbe grass but car parking staff at the campus were lenient on the day thankfully.

The race was great! Good organization, the route, the atmosphere! Even the weather was perfect!

Recommendation: provide the T-shirts the day before, to being able to arrive to the race already dress.

Really enjoyed the new route!

Would have preferred a third water station.

My only criticism- Too many people the other side of finish line - I was sprinting to finish and nearly collided with runners n volunteers after the finish line

Future events would benefit from additional toilet facilities at the start, as queues were v long

Large field. Rolling route has some challenges. Some non tarmac paths after heavy rain weren’t perfect but certainly not cross country running.
Good large venue to hold people if weather unfavourable.
